and we went on a few dates
for a few months, back a few years.
We started and ended. That’s ok.
Together, we didn’t take photos,
trade T-shirts, or share friends.
So the only traces we have are texts.
Bubbles warming up and cooling down.
We’ll never know what wasn’t sent.
